Fabian Mazur & Troyboi Team Up on Trappy Bop, ‘Shoulder Lean’
British producer Troyboi and Danish producer Fabian Mazur are stars in their own right. Both artists blend Trap and Hip Hop with other genres of EDM. They are both exceptionally versatile in their sound design. Fabian Mazur was one of my earliest EDM discoveries, while Troyboi bop “ili” solidified my Trap music fandom. These two producers together make for a Trap dream team, making their newest drop “Shoulder Lean” a highly anticipated collaboration. This collaboration is a spin off of an epic 2000s hip hop track of the same name. The original features Young Dro and T.I. This revamped version modernizes the original both lyrically and instrumentally.
“Shoulder Lean” features sploinky, low-ended bass and Trap oriented drops. These drops are perfect for getting low on the dance floor, keeping up a steady sway. Hip-Hop drums give the track a groovy bounce, meshing with the heavy bass perfectly. Gorgeous chimes add even more variety to the diverse beat, demonstrating the incredible production techniques of Troyboi and Fabian Mazur. The crunchy drops are followed by silky-smooth synthesizers and beautiful melodies. “Shoulder Lean’s” second drop blends in dubstep wobbles, concluding the song on a high note.
“I pull up to the scene and they already know. I do the shoulder lean yeah I ball on the floor,”
