This week we’ve got a song a new single, “Malfunction,” by the ever so extraterrestrial duo, ATLiens on repeat. Released just at the end of January and right before the drop of their EP Invasion, this track is exactly what we needed to get the alien vibes triggered and the hype-ship activated for their performance at Phoenix Lights. Diving deeper into the track, “Malfunction” delivers a heavy dose of bass and trap with a twist. The songs foundation is static bass line but its the layering of machine screeches, drill synths, and deep dark kicks. The song may be titled “Malfunction,” but the execution of this one is flawless.
