Spin it Back Saturday: Diplo & GTA – ‘Boy Oh Boy’

To get you hyped for Phoenix Lights around the corner, how about a little throwback from Diplo and GTA? This week’s Spin It Back Saturday feature’s GTA’s 2013 collaboration with Diplo, “Boy oh Boy.” While released five years ago, this track remains one of GTA’s most well-known songs and paves the way for a longstanding relationship of collabs with Diplo. Chances are you’ll be hearing it in sets for years to come still. 

“Boy Oh Boy” is a classic club anthem that can be still be heard at any pool party across the country, likely for its sure-fire way of keeping the energy up. Miami-based duo GTA has a lot of experience on this front. Their sound combines elements of House, Trap, and Hip-hop, adding energy to a crowd like no other. Diplo, of course, is no stranger to a party, and that’s exactly what this song is.
