YetepIt’s a good day when Louis the Child releases new music. The sun shines a little brighter and smiles are plastered on endless faces throughout Arizona. 2018 has already proven to be a huge year for Louis the Child, with a collab EP release with Whethan, multiple singles dropped, and numerous shows it’s clear to see they are focusing on their grind. The Chicago duo’s newest single is the perfect pregame anthem, “Shake Something.” Combining elements of slow tempo hip-hop burner music with Joey Purp’s trap-influenced lyrics and Louis the Child’s signature synth sounds, “Shake Something” is an excellent experimental track that will be sure to have you dancing.
Louis the Child gained massive popularity in 2017. Releasing their first full EP Love is Alive sprung their career into full speed and got them the attention from listeners worldwide. Since that EP release, the duo has been touring internationally, spreading their message to an endless sea of people. Arizona was lucky enough to close out their breakout year with them at Decadence 2017 and crowds were left in tears at the vibey set. In 2018 Louis the Child is set to play some of the hugest festivals in North America like Electric Forest and Coachella. Louis the Child is still on the rise and watching them grow has been an adventure. We are excited to see what the future has in store for the Chicagoan duo.
