Ekali, Medasin & Elohim Team Up for Super-Collab
Canadian producer Ekali has successfully risen to the very top over the past 2 years. At Coachella 2016, Ekali played a set at The Do LaB and has since worked with the huge names such as Zhu, Denzel Curry, KRANE and more. Medasin, or Grant Nelson, has been producing since he was just 12 years old. Now, at just 17, he is starting to make music that he is genuinely proud of and it shows through his rapidly growing fan base.
Recently Ekali and Medasin came together to produce their own track entitled “Forever.” The song features the incredibly talented, and outrageously passionate fellow DJ Elohim. Vocalist, songwriter, and producer, Elohim has worked alongside Louis the Child, Alison Wonderland, and Whethan jumping from banger to banger. The elegance and truth of her music is something that remains untouchable, even as she gets bigger.
The song begins abruptly with Elohim’s sweet and sultry voice combined with Ekali and Medasin’s masterful technique. It quickly slows down with a bit of a drum line as we move into the chorus. The drop rings out with an uplifting and dance-like melody serves as a relieving reminder that everything might just be okay.
These 3 multitalented artists are proof that no matter what struggles you’ve encountered, with passion, hard work and vision no tough time is permanent. I’ll certainly be getting down to this track “Forever.”
