Yetep2018 is going to be a great year for Kygo fans. After the release of his album Kids in Love in 2017, Kygo has been in the studio cooking up something wonderful. This time he’s teamed up with Grammy Award-winning artist Miguel to deliver “Remind Me to Forget.” The downtempo track features Miguel’s signature vocals and Kygo’s contagious melodies. The song stays true to the artist’s tropical house sound and is destined to be a hit. In only one week since the song’s release, the track already has over 11 million streams on Spotify alone.
Ever since his breakthrough in 2014 with “Firestone,” Kygo has been a rising star in the EDM industry. He’s made songs with some of the most popular artists in the industry such as Selena Gomez and Ellie Golding. At only 26-year-old, Kygo has helped shape the modern EDM scene into what it is today. The Norwegian DJ, producer, and songwriter made history in 2016 when he became the first house DJ to perform at the Olympics closing ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Seeing how quickly Kygo took off is inspirational, and listeners are eagerly awaiting to see what else Kygo will think of next in 2018.
