YetepChris Lake and Chris Lorenzo have been the power duo on everyone’s minds since their collaboration “Pizza” was released last July. After months of teasers in both Lorenzo’s and Lake’s sets, everyone has been at the edge of their seats waiting for the first release of their Anti Up project, and it’s finally here.
The debut EP, entitled Hey Pablo, will give any house music lover their fill, with silky smooth basslines, funky latin vibes, and catchy hooks that you won’t mind get stuck in your head. Check out the three-track EP below.
The EP starts off on a more serious note with the title track, “Hey Pablo.” In “Friday,” the track builds as the vocals “Count the days til Friday” come in and out until finally the bass kicks in and the track drops, capturing the long week’s buildup to the long-awaited Friday afternoon. Closing out the EP is “Get That,” a fun track filled with quirky samples and a banging beat.
You can catch Anti Up at Decadence this New Years Eve. Grab your tickets here.
