YetepThere’s something truly magical about witnessing two of the industry’s most celebrated electronic music producers join forces. And when they finally unveil their creation, it’s pure euphoria! After years of teasing fans with some of the most coveted IDs stored on any artist’s USB, the new Anti Up is finally here! The powerhouse duo of Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo, known as Anti Up, has just dropped their genre-defying and highly anticipated debut album, What Is Life.
Known for their rebellious production techniques, What Is Life is a testament to the underground. It exemplifies Anti Up’s ability to blend a diverse array of old-school elements with modern production to create a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Each track is meticulously produced, showcasing their attention to detail and distinctiveness. Standout tracks include “Freaky Feed Me,” “The Weekend,” “Chromatic,” and the title track “What Is Life.” These songs are packed with energy and set the vibe for the entire album. Hits like “Sensational” and “Right Now” showcase their signature style with driving basslines, catchy hooks, and relentless rhythms. “Funky Nasa” highlights their experimental side, while “Get That” is a fun, groovy track that’s impossible not to dance to. It’s no surprise that Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo have delivered a project full of sonically rich sounds that transcend house music boundaries. They seamlessly incorporate elements of funk, techno, hip-hop, house, and even a touch of disco. With this release, they continue to prove why they are one of the most exciting acts in electronic music today.
After an unreal doubleheader provided by Chris Lorenzo in Arizona last weekend, next up we have his partner in crime, Chris Lake, headlining Super Unnatural this November 1-2 at the WestWorld of Scottsdale. Alongside Chris Lake is a lineup filled with music icons like Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Mochakk b2b The Martinez Brothers, and so much more! Check out the rest of the incredible lineup and grab your tickets here!
