HVDES Will ‘Disarm U’ with Kaskade Remix
One of the greatest, sweetest love songs in the EDM world is Kaskade‘s “Disarm U.” It has a gentle, melodic beat with crooning harmonious vocals that has an intensely romantic effect on the listener. The lovey-dovey lyrics tie all of this together to make it one of Kaskade’s greatest hits among helpless romantics and EDM enthusiasts alike. If soft melodies aren’t your thing, though, don’t give up on “Disarm U” just yet. LA-based producer HVDES has just dropped some dark heat with her remix of the Kaskade classic.
With a haunting twist to the original vocals and an ominous buildup, HVDES morphs the energy of this track into something heavier from the very beginning. High-pitched sounds and synths emote a different kind of vibe than the original, but HVDES also samples a cute anime vocal to keep it true to the delicate original.
