YetepThe fresh side project from masters of funky house music Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo, Anti Up, has slowly been releasing the heaters that the Chris’s have been collaborating on. Tracks like “Pizza” and “Hey Pablo” have been bangin’ through the speakers at house sets on all festival stages, as well as several unreleased honkers that Anti Up fans are already familiar with. The wait has been torturous, but finally Anti Up have released another slapper, “Concentrate.”
“Concentrate” is full of robust synths, acid sound design, and the catchy, repetitive lyrics “I’m struggling to concentrate,” before it erupts into a bouncy, groovy beat. The track is just another example of what happens when you create a golden child from the combined talents of greats like Lorenzo and Lake. There’s no doubt that more Anti Up bops will be coming soon this year.
