YetepBIJOU has been at the center of the g-house movement for a while, but this year has been especially successful for the Arizona native. He’s released eight songs, performed at EDC, Beyond Wonderland, taken tours across the globe, and he doesn’t plan on stopping here. Every new release from BIJOU gives us another reason to love him and his latest release, “100 Bags” featuring Chetta, is no exception. Released late last month, “100 Bags” already has over 60 thousand streams and with g-house funk, heavy bass, and clean vocals, there’s a good reason why everyone is so obsessed with this perfect dance track.
“100 Bags” features vocals from New Orleans rapper, Chetta, who has a unique, intense voice that really sets the song apart. Chetta has collaborated with artists such as $uicideboy$ and Wavy Jones and his smooth vocals go well with BIJOU’s distinct sound. BIJOU does a great job incorporating some heavy bass into his music and, as a result, “100 Bags” has a slight bass-house feel, while still maintaining a g-house groove. Thanks to BIJOU’s talent as a house producer, there isn’t a time in the song where you won’t feel like dancing and this energy continues throughout the entire track. “100 Bags” is yet another perfect song from BIJOU and it’s songs like this where we really hear how far he’s come since 2013. If you need that dance track that’s sure to get everyone on the floor, “100 Bags” is the perfect song for you.
You can catch BIJOU at this year’s Goldrush Music Festival on September 27th an 28th. Grab tickets here.
