Claude VonStroke Drops 2-Track ‘Slink’ EP

Claude VonStroke is one of the most influential label owners of the past decade, with his iconic Dirtybird label carving out its very own corner of the House realm. Home to artists like Catz ‘n Dogz, Shiba San, Eats Everything, J Phlip, Kill Frenzy, and many more, Dirtybird is quite possibly taking over the world. But we’re not mad about it.

The master himself is back with some brand new music, a two-track EP entitled Slink. Check it out below.

His first solo project since 2018, VonStroke brings the Tech House fire on this one. The title track, “Slink” features a funky double bassline underneath vocal snippets that conjure up images of the 80’s. “Please Oh Please Oh Please” is more of an homage to early Dirtybird days with inventive percussion and sound design.

Claude Vonstroke said about the EP, “‘Slink’ is a fun, classic house vibe with a slappin’ bass riff and a fake cameo from Chris Tucker.”

Speaking of Dirtybird, VonStroke will be joining Shiba San, Walker & Royce, and J. Worra for Dirtybird Players on November 2nd. Get your tickets here.
