YetepGrant Nelson, better known as Medasin, is known for his creative, lush, and vibey future bass original tunes and covers. It has been over a year since his debut release Irene, which blew fans away with its atmospheric tone and genre transcending essence. Now, to set the tone for the new year, Medasin has informed us via social media that he will be releasing new music! He took to Instagram prior to this announcement to explain his time away and the struggles he has been having during the time. With these things aside, he is finally ready to share his next project with us. Medasin’s soon to be sophomore album RIPPLS was announced for early 2020 and we are already so stoked to hear it. Read his statement below.

Although we did not get a specific date for its release, the album artwork alone for RIPPLS has everyone talking. The supposedly 12-track project and its future tour’s visuals will go through two exclusive, live “Beta Testing” shows by Medasin at Webster Hall in NYC and The Fonda in LA as their intro. Medasin seems very proud and excited to show RIPPLS to the world and we more than ready to see all the work he has been doing. Stay tuned for future details!
