Having a public platform to influence is an important responsibility. For many it’s about more than spreading their music and having people know their name.
Starting in the later half of 2019, intense bushfires spread across Australia, having devastating effects on the country as they continue to wreak havoc. The wildfires have claimed 24 lives and more than 2,000 homes, 6.3 million hectares of land across the bush, national parks, and forests, and more than 500 million animals. Many high-profile DJs and producers have since used their platform to bring awareness and raise money to help the burning country.
Sending an unreleased track to anyone who donates $10 or more to an Australian charity to help fight the ongoing wildfires – email me a confirmation u donated to firstname.lastname@example.org

This is a horrible, dark time and as our beautiful country continues to burn I wanted to do anything I could in the best way I can. @enschway and I would love to see you this Saturday night at Carmens. All proceeds will go to help support those so horribly affected. Big ups @kyleohalloran_ and @darcystewart___ for pulling this Together. I love you Australia.
Flume, Blanke, Alison Wonderland, David Guetta, Svdden Death, Luca Lush, Steve Aoki and many more have all begun to raise awareness and monetary support via fundraiser shows, direct donations, merchandise sales, and providing links for fans to choose for themselves how they’d like to contribute. See how you can help and what you can personally do to show support here! Whether it’s spreading awareness or raising money, we can all do our part. Our thoughts are with Australia and all those affected by this devastating event.
