YetepThis year’s edition of Goldrush: Sonoran Skies, was incredible. From an outstanding lineup to additional activities and an upgraded second stage, we had very little to complain about. Relentless Beats consistently delivers with their festivals, but they always strive for more, and that commitment was evident at Goldrush. Let’s take a closer look at how this festival unfolded!
First, the venue. Last year marked the first Goldrush event hosted at the Phoenix Raceway, and while it was an amazing experience, there were still a few kinks to work out. This year, they upgraded the second stage (in addition to making improvements to all stages), much to the excitement of concert-goers. The main stage was absolutely massive and hosted incredible performances by artists like Madeon and Louis The Child. They relocated the second stage, transforming it into a true festival stage complete with lasers as early as 9 pm. The third stage was indoors and created an atmosphere that truly immersed attendees in the scene, with high-quality production throughout. The fourth stage, an art car, delivered a unique experience as you had to scan your wristband to enter. Overall, the venue layout was ideal.
Goldrush always provides a stacked lineup, and this year was no different. With a wide variety of genres represented, Goldrush had something for everyone. Headlining the festival were Louis the Child, Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, ZHU, and Tiësto, all of whom delivered absolutely incredible sets. The undercard was stacked as well, featuring outstanding performances from Madeon, Hamdi, and Ben Böhmer, to name a few. Goldrush also offered fantastic extracurricular activities, such as a roller disco and dodgeball.
This year’s edition of Goldrush was nothing short of exceptional, and I cannot wait to see what next year has in store!
