YetepLast week Dallas producer Medasin unleashed his sophomore album RIPPLS onto the world. It’s packed with fourteen tracks that’ll make you feel like you’re floating away into a state of pure bliss. The album includes features from DUCKWRTH, Cautious Clay, Naomi Wild, and more. Grab some headphones for full effect and give it a listen below.
In an email to The FADER, Medasin disclosed “To me this album is an amalgamation of everything I’ve felt and been inspired by in the past couple years. Not only musically, but also through conversation, reflection, and several existential crises,” going on to elaborate that “Learning how to extract pure unfiltered energy from myself and encapsulate it into a song and project is a grueling yet beautiful process. Now to open up my heart and share my creation with the world, it’s truly one of the most gratifying processes I’ve felt so far. Simply put, it’s just a blessing to be here and to be able to express via music, be heard, and understood.”
Medasin will be bringing his RIPPLS tour to Tempe on May 8th at Shady Park. Be sure to grab your tickets to this 21+ event here before they’re all gone.
