YetepIn 2007, the iconic deadmau5 launched his multi-genre label, mau5trap, which quickly became home to dance music heavyweights like Strillex, Dillon Francis, Noisia, and many more. Now, almost 15 years later, deadmau5 continues his relentless journey of championing trailblazing and genre-defying talent as he debuts his brand new imprint, hau5trap.
With a focus on house music, the new label venture will allow deadmau5 to help producers break into the scene, while he builds alongside them as they grow into their artistic best. From ATTLAS, to REZZ, to i_o, and beyond, hau5trap now looks to usher in a new generation of house music talent.
March 4th will see the first release on hau5trap, as Tommy Trash and Daisy Guttridge reunite on “Hiiigh.” The two last collaborated on their 2019 hit, “Let Me Go,” with longtime mau5trap artist, i_o. This special release not only kicks off a brand new venture, but also aims to pay homage to the late i_o and his illustrious career with mau5trap.
“From the start, the mau5trap mandate has been to find and foster global electronic talent. hau5trap is the perfect platform to expand and continue that mission. Tommy Trash’s history with the mau5trap family is well documented, and we’re excited to unveil what’s to come.” – Dean Wilson, CEO & Founder of Seven20
