YetepFollowing the exciting announcement last week of his new house-focused label hau5trap, deadmau5 has now delivered his promised first single off the label – “Hiiigh” by Tommy Trash and Daisy Guttridge. The track combines sonic synths with classic four-on-the-flour basslines, as Daisy Guttridge leads the way with spellbinding vocals. Brimming with nuanced house flair, Tommy Trash and Daisy Guttridge create a sultry symphony, a perfect way to kick off all things hau5trap. Check out “Hiiigh” below.
Tommy Trash is no stranger to the mau5trap brand. His remix of “The Veldt” was nominated for Best Remix in the 2012 Grammy’s and is still featured in deadmau5 sets today. More recently, the pair reunited for Tommy’s remix of deadmau5 and Kiesza’s “Bridged By A Lightwave,” which received high praise from electronic tastemakers including DJ Times and The EDM Network.
Tommy and Daisy Guttridge have a working history together as well, on 2017’s “Oxygen” and 2019’s “Let Me Go, both with the late i_o, who was also a frequent mau5trap collaborator.
