YetepPerhaps you’re just stumbling upon the work of LINK, but we can assure that you won’t be disappointed by the dynamite capabilities of this UK born artist. Perhaps you are aware of the experimental bass/dubstep producer LAXX, who released a lot of work via SKisM’s Never Say Die label, and that happens to be LINK’s former alias.
Over the past year, he has gone on to develop a refreshing new style and one that we imagine will continue to progressing. Drawing on influences from the music he grew up hearing as a teenager, you can expect tunes that sound perfect through a warehouse speaker whilst your trainers slowly get coated in mud.
Moving on from the trap-inspired future dubstep that he made as LAXX, LINK is making music that we all need a bit more of right now: high-powered anthems that you can lose your sh*t to in that first rave back.
His brand new EP, Turbo, has been released through Welcome Records just last week. Three exclusives – ‘On A Roll,’ ‘The Concept’ and ‘WATUGOT’ sit alongside ‘Come Together,’ ‘Fader’ and the absolute vibe that is ‘I Want You.’ Get strapped into a sonic rollercoaster of floor-flinging basslines, frantic vocals and devastatingly euphoric melodies – we can promise you’ll be hitting repeat as soon as the final track ebbs away.
2021 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for LINK, and whilst he hasn’t got any confirmed show dates yet, we expect they’ll be snapped up whenever they do drop.
