YetepHailing from the United Kingdom, Dimension is the stage name for drum and bass producer and DJ Robert Etheridge. Since his introduction to London’s dance music industry as a teenager, Dimension has come to be one of the most notable artists breathing new life into the drum and bass scene.
Though forced to take piano lessons in his youth, Etheridge quickly realized his passion for music and began composing his own melodies. His first solo release under the name Dimension was published on British media company UKF’s YouTube channel in 2010 and was well-received, garnering the attention of BBC radio show hosts and record labels alike. A steady stream of singles released over the years showcases Etheridge’s versatility: from melodic, emotionally-charged anthems like “Love To Me”, to industrial, grungy club bangers such as “Whip Slap”. Etheridge was propelled into the international spotlight in 2018 after the release of dancefloor anthem “Desire”, a collaboration with Sub Focus that achieved commercial success and would eventually go silver.
A few years after achieving global acclaim, Etheridge released his debut album Organ in 2021. The self-released album is described as “a tale of violence, ecstasy, heartbreak and uncompromising energy”. Etheridge’s debut album is on par with his impressive discography, reaffirming his keen attention to aesthetics and effortless ability to seamlessly incorporate stylistic elements from other music genres, from garage to acid trance, techno to house. Dimension has truly shown the global stage his multidimensional sound as a drum and bass artist.
Currently, Dimension is diligently working on new music while maintaining an international touring schedule. He’ll be making a rare appearance in Arizona later this month! Dimension will be bringing the heat at this year’s annual Deadbeats Arizona, joining Zeds Dead and more on April 22nd at Phoenix Raceway. Click here to snag your ticket!
