Calvin Harris Announces ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2’

It’s been five years since Calvin Harris gave us the mega successful Funk Wav Bounces album, which brought us tracks like “Slide” with Frank Ocean and Migos, “Feels” with Pharrell Williams and Katy Perry, “Prayers Up” with Travis Scott and A-Trak and so many more. Funk Wav Bounces brought some of the best talent across the music industry together for one massive releases that’s had fans captivated since.

We were never promised a second volume, but fans have continued to ask year after year and it’s finally paid off—a second Funk Wav Bounces is on the way! Calvin Harris began teasing the new album in March with a tweet, “Vol 2 is gonna be mad.” Since then there’s been a handful of posts about the upcoming album, including behind-the-scenes photos in the studio and this grand billboard in Palm Springs.

Summer ’22 is shaping up to be an exciting one for many reasons, but Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 is toward the top of that list! Even though this is the first major collection from Calvin Harris in five years, he’s released a handful of tracks over the past few years, including tunes under his alternate alias, Love Regenerator. Fans are also excited to see Harris return to the festival circuit after a lengthy time away.
