Lastlings Unveil ‘Out My Head’ from Upcoming Album, ‘Perfect World’

Hailing from Australia’s Gold Coast, brother-sister duo Lastlings charm listeners with their brand of indie-electronic music with a pop sensibility. Consisting of Josh and Amy Dowdle, the Japanese-Australian duo emerged onto the scene in 2015 with their single “Verona.” Since then, they’ve toured with the iconic RÜFÜS DU SOL, produced remixes for the likes of Bob Moses and SG Lewis, and released their debut album, No Contact. Nearly three years later, Lastlings is gearing up to release their sophomore album, Perfect World. With three tracks from the album released—“Get What You Want,” “Holding Me Like Water,” and “Noise”—Lastlings just delivered a fourth track, “Out My Head.”

“Out My Head” is a glimpse into Lastlings’ Perfect World, described by the artists as a “journey into adulthood.” “Out My Head” spins like silk, with Josh’s sleek production a shimmering backdrop for Amy’s delicate vocals. Check it out below!

Set for release on June 23rd, Perfect World is a collection of stories about learning lessons, heartbreak, and finding independence in your early 20s. Watch the album trailer below:
