YetepArizona, get ready to be on high alert because ALRT, the founder of NRG Records, is coming to play Darkstar on June 10th! ALRT’s electrifying beats and boundary-pushing sound combine multiple genres like hardstyle, trap, dubstep, house, and more into an energy-fueled set that has made crowds dance from small venues to huge festivals alike.
Praised as one of the “latest and greatest DJs and producers rising to the top” by DJ Mag, ALRT shows no signs of slowing down. Collaborating with DJs such as Ghastly, Adventure Club, Wax Motif, and Kayzo, ALRT has established himself as a rising force in the hard dance scene. But ALRT’s talents don’t stop there, he has also produced a number of solo tracks like “Air Drum,” “My Level,” and “Poppin'” showcasing his unique ability to blend genres and push musical boundaries. With a style all his own, ALRT is sure to make waves in the world of electronic dance music for years to come.
I had a chance to speak with ALRT on a few different topics, including a sneak peak on what’s coming in the future. Check it out here:
We are excited for you to bring the heat in June! What should the fans expect from the show?
As always promised im bringing ALL my energy, I have a ton of new music that I’ve been teasing and just good time!
Congratulations on NRG Records, that is a huge accomplishment! What has been your favorite part of launching it?
Thank you! My favorite part is having the freedom to finish music and immediately release it to the world. Also being able to meet new artists and helping them with their music is a passion of mine.
You have popular remixes as well as originals. Which do you enjoy producing more?
I don’t really have a preference. There is no better feeling in the word then creating something or even reworking somebody else’s work. Besides my family, music is a huge part of my life and I really enjoy the process.
If you could collab with anybody, who would it be?
Mmm there is too much to mention. Skrillex is up there for sure as I’ve always respected his production and musical skills.
What songs/artists are on repeat for you right now?
I usually tend to listen to older music. I grew up in the 90s and that really inspired me to make music. The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Fatboy Slim, Faithless are always on repeat.
What festival/venue is on your bucket list to play?
There is so many I can’t really say one, but enjoy small venues just as much as I enjoy the big festivals.
What is your pre-show ritual?
I always like to make some new edits before shows to create cool moments. I don’t drink a lot but I like one small drink before shows just to calm my nerves 🙂
What is next for ALRT? What should the fans look out for?
I guess next will be a FULL ALBUM – that would be sooner then later 😉 .
Don’t miss the chance to experience ALRT’s unique sound and energy at Darkstar on June 10th in Arizona. Get ready to dance the night away to his heavy-hitting beats and see for yourself why ALRT is a force to be reckoned with in the world of hard dance music. Get your tickets here!
