Meet CID at ‘The Function’ This Saturday

Hailing from the vibrant city of New York, CID, also known as Carlos Cid, is a force to be reckoned with. This aspiring accountant turned Grammy-winning producer has conquered global festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Ultra, and Bonnaroo, leaving his audiences in awe. His versatile style seamlessly fuses after-hours house, tech house, and crossover dance hits, creating an irresistible blend that’ll have you moving all night long.

CID’s breakthrough moment came in 2013 when he clinched his first Grammy for his work on Cedric Gervais’ multiplatinum remix of queen Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness.” Since then, his star has only continued to rise, earning him a Grammy nomination in 2019 for Best Remixed Recording with his solo remix of “Audio” by pop supergroup LSD. 

Collaborating with industry giants like Kaskade, Tiësto, and Martin Garrix, CID has consistently delivered breakout releases that showcase his undeniable talent. Drawing inspo from deep house and electro elements, CID’s music is enriched with driving, melodic beats. He effortlessly incorporates live instruments like guitar and violin into his sets, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for his fans. 

Having signed with Big Beat Records In 2017, CID has solidified his position as a rising star in the EDM scene. His discography boasts hits like “Us” and “Sweet Memories” with Kaskade, “Nights Like This” with renowned duo Loud Luxury, and “Believer” featuring the hip hop and R&B sensation CeeLo Green. With support from major labels like Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, and Spinnin’ Records, CID’s releases have garnered widespread acclaim.
