This year, Day One Block Party will be hosted at Sunbar for its return to downtown Tempe. The daytime outdoor event will be the perfect way to end your Decadence weekend or whatever plans you have in store for your NYE. Relentless Beats has hosted previous block parties at Sunbar, including Jauz’s Bite This! Block Party and Body Language music festival in 2022. With the perfect cozy set up, the block parties hosted at Sunbar never fail to bring the best vibes and bump the finest music. Relentless Beats has partnered with Diamond Juice to bring this year’s event.

Day One Block Party is bringing some of the hottest artists in house music to start off 2024 right. House music feeds the soul and we’re going to be replenished with the house heaters from Cloonee, Hot Since 82, and Layla Benitez. Cloonee

Internationally renowned, UK DJ and producer, Cloonee (or David Bissett) has been shining in the spotlight and has been on a nonstop rise to the top. For the last few years, Cloonee has been turning heads with his fresh minimal house beats. Dropping a continuous release of heaters like some of his popular tracks, “The Ciggie,” “Mi Amor” with Wade, “Fine Night” and plenty more. Cloonee has worked with artists like Chris Lake on multiple occasions, most recently on their new collaboration, “Weeping Willow, released under Cloonee’s own record label Hellbent Records, which launched last year and has already brought some notable house tracks to the scene. Cloonee set will be the perfect high energy for the Day One Block Party, bringing along all of his classic four on the floor house tracks.

Hot Since 82

A man of many talents, a legend known far and wide, UK DJ and producer, Hot Since 82 (or Daley Padley) is coming to tear up the decks at Day One with his mind-bending house tracks. For about two decades, Hot Since 82 has been perfecting his craft and making music from an array of genres like deep house, techno, minimal house, etc. From the underground to filling up stages around the world, Hot Since 82 has brought a variety of chart topping tracks, some of his popular tracks being “Buggin’” with Jem Cooke, “Veins,” his remix of Green Velvet’s “Bigger Than Prince,” and more. In addition, Hot Since 82 has hosted his own night clubs and works on his record label, Knee Deep in Sound, which showcases up and coming underground house/techno artists. His set at Day One Block Party will be nothing short of legendary. 

Layla Benitez

Breaking boundaries with her dark house beats, US DJ and Producer, Layla Benitez career has recently launched and has been bringing the grooves worldwide. She started off DJing at a young age at family and friends’ parties, now she is taking over the international circuit. Having showcased her talent on Circoloco radio and Boiler Room, as well as being a current resident at Club Space Miami, Layla Benitez is on a quick rise to fame. Get a taste of her alluring music style from her tracks “Fizzy Pop” with Max Milner, “Fides,” and “Carpo.”
