Real Trench Time with ‘CLOCKWORK EP’ From Infekt & SampliFire
If you thought Infekt and SampliFire were already causing enough damage together, the two riddim heavyweights are back with an entire project. CLOCKWORK is the newest EP from the duo, bringing six tracks of twisted sound design, crunchy bass, and the kind of trench madness that makes you want to immediately find the biggest set of speakers you can.
Infekt and SampliFire have already proven that their chemistry is something special. After previously linking up for tracks like “True Trench Times” and “ECHO,” the two have continued building one of the most recognizable collaborations in modern riddim, practically shaping the genre with their releases. CLOCKWORK takes that partnership even further, with “CONTINUUM,” “The Clock,” and “MANEUVER” showcasing the duo’s ability to turn simple rhythms into some seriously nasty drops. The project also brings in Xae for “TRENCH-A-HOLICS” and “Final Tick,” while Shiverz joins the crew on “F WHAT U HEARD.”
The timing of the EP could not be better either. Infekt and SampliFire just brought their collaboration to one of the biggest stages in bass music with a special b2b at Lost Lands 2026. The set was one of the festival’s featured back-to-backs, putting two of the biggest names in trench together at Legend Valley for a full dose of the grimy trench tunes they have been cooking up.
If you have ever seen either artist live, you already know what happens when these two get behind the decks together. Infekt brings the weird, wonky and unpredictable side of riddim, while SampliFire has built a reputation for some of the heaviest sound design in the game. Put them together and you get exactly what you would expect: absolute chaos. CLOCKWORK feels like the studio version of that same energy, with every track built around nasty chops, unexpected switches, and drops that are practically begging to be played at full volume.
