Modal Nodes Brings Riddim From a Galaxy Far, Far Away…
Modal Nodes have been moving fast in the riddim world, and they have done it without revealing much about who is behind the masks. The anonymous duo first turned heads with their Alone EP on INFEKT’s Port Zero imprint, delivering five tracks of tightly constructed riddim that immediately separated the project from the jampacked riddim scene that has developed over the past five years. Their connection with INFEKT continued with the release of “INFECTED” while Subtronics has also supported their track “Unnatural” in his sets. With appearances at Rampage, Northern Invasion, and Lost Lands already under their belt, Modal Nodes have quickly taken their sound from the underground to some of the biggest stages in bass music. Their mysterious identity is part of the appeal, but the production is what keeps people coming back. Every track is packed with detailed sound design, crushing bass and the kind of unpredictable switches that make riddim so much fun.
Modal Nodes are bringing their signature sound to Arizona for HEX at Rawhide Festival Grounds in Chandler this Halloween. The duo will take the stage Saturday alongside Excision, ATLiens, Decimate, Hurtbox, Riot Ten b2b PhaseOne, Xaebor and more, giving Arizona bass fans a chance to catch one of riddim’s most talked-about projects. With two nights of bass, two stages and a lineup spanning dubstep, riddim and experimental sounds, HEX is shaping up to be a new Halloween destination for Arizona’s bass community. Modal Nodes are bringing the riddim and the high kneed energy to Rawhide and if their recent run is any indication, their HEX set should be one for the headbangers.
