Whethan & The Knocks’ ‘Summer Love’ Gets a Chrome Sparks Twist

This past September, Whethan, The Knocks, and the Crystal Fighters released “Summer Luv”, the electronic-indie anthem of the summer. The song did exceptionally well and received over a million streams on Spotify. It’s been on repeat for the past month and right when we thought we couldn’t love the song anymore, Brooklyn-based alt electronic producer, Chrome Sparks, releases an official remix that makes us fall in love all over again.

The “Summer Luv” remix is just as bright and nostalgic as the original version of the song, but Chrome Sparks adds a bit of spunk and groove to an already flawless track. The main difference between the original song and the Chrome Sparks remix is the beachy vibe of the original is replaced with a more chill-club sound in the remix. Chrome Sparks’ sound is less organic and more electronic, yet both versions fit the Crystal Fighter’s feel-good vocals well. If you’re still reminiscing the warm weather and freedom of summer, Chrome Sparks’ “Summer Luv” remix is a must-listen.
