The excitingly original and extremely talented producer Sam Pool, known by his stage name Champagne Drip recently took on the banger “Hyphy” for an incredible new remix. The original track was a collaboration between El Paso based DJ Riot Ten and underground bass producer YDG, and Pool was able to wreak some real havoc on the track. Better known as his newest musical persona Champagne Drip, the LA-based producer is no stranger to remixes and has showcased his proficiency and talent many times before. Examples of his work include official remixes for Zeds Dead & Diplo (Blame), Grandtheft (Summer in the Winter) and Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE (Need You). Within his own musical journey, Champagne Drip has explored a variety of different genres under EDM, and his fresh and different sounds caught the ears of fans and management quickly, boosting him on the path to success. Playing shows and festivals around the country, including EDC Las Vegas, Mysteryland, Imagine, and Lost Lands, this ambitious electronic artist is slowly climbing his way to the top. Listen to his electric new remix below!
With huge respects to the original track, Champagne Drip starts by artfully building upon the foundation already set by Riot Ten. He keeps the best parts of the song while adding in his own production, style, and flare. Most notably, the first drop is wild, mind-shattering, and wonky. It is at this moment that the song truly transforms into Champagne Drip’s own masterpiece and evolves into something entirely different. This song has loads of bass, god-tier production, and originality, and overall an electric and intense musical soundscape well-worth listening and dancing to.
