Young and vibrant DJ/producer, Robert Hughes, better known as Vincent has enticed the scene with his creative design and genre-bending pieces. He’s known to take trap, future bass, and a dash of everything else to produce tracks that have listeners buzzing long after they end. Vincent emerged in the scene back in 2014 and has become an avant-garde connoisseur when it comes to dance music. His tracks have been heard in live sets from RL Grime, Flosstradamus, TWRK, and more. Alongside originals, he’s remixed Flume’s “Some Minds,” Alessia Cara’s “Here,” and Alison Wonderland’s “U Don’t Know.” Vincent is a trendsetter that continues to fuse the fiercest sounds around. His latest release though takes a turn for love and is a huge collaboration with indie band The Griswolds. Out now on Parametric Records, get “Lost & In Love” below.
Taking the strong vocals by lead singer Chris Whitehall and the buzzing synths from Vincent, we get a track that blooms electro-pop vibes. Engaging the crowd with each instrumental addition, it soon drops into a dreamy house swing, tempting you to grab the nearest partner and spin around the dance floor as glitter rains down. Vincent and The Griswolds melt together seamlessly on this one and we can’t enough of it.
The Griswolds will be traveling the US as the year comes to a close, while we pray for Vincent to be announced in AZ for a surprise date on his tour next year. Be sure to add “Lost & In Love” to that romantic EDM playlist and listen on repeat.
