Adrian Villaverde – Articul8

The latest release on Sydney Blu‘s Blu Music drops Monday, May 14, 2012 in the US from relative newcomer Adrian Villaverde. Blu published a preview of Articul8 on her SoundCloud a few months ago and it’s definitely poised to be a banger.

In the past two years, Villaverde has shared the stage with some of the top artists in the world and performed at some of the biggest events in the US including Electric Daisy Carnival in Orlando. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to play alongside Grammy Winning producer Benny Benassi, which led to many other subsequent events with artists including Avicii, Laidback Luke & Porter Robinson. Villaverde is an up and coming producer to keep an eye on.

Hard electro sounds combine with some soulful–albeit modulated–vocals in Articul8 with a massive buildup to the chorus around 1:45. The vocals give way to some big proggy synths nearly 45 seconds later with a drop that will certainly get any crowd riled up at the peak of the night.
