Insomniac Launches Full EDC Week

Last year, EDC practically took over all of Las Vegas with dance music performances at nearly every club on the desert city’s famous four mile stretch. This year, Insomniac teased plans of making that same effort more cohesive in a literal EDC takeover.

Yesterday, in a move that takes EDC and Vegas one step closer to Ultra Music Festival and Miami, Insomniac announced nearly a full week of events leading up to the flagship Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In conjunction with the EDMbiz conference, Insomniac is on the brink of creating Miami West in Vegas.

EDC Week will take place all over the strip with events at Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan, TAO at the Venetian, LAVO at the Palazzo, Drai’s After Hours at Bill’s Gambling Hall, and a special Bassrush Massive event at Orleans Area. In addition to the countless artists already performing at EDC, the strip’s hottest clubs will also feature events with Chuckie, 12th Planet, Excision, Knife Party, Hardwell, Benny Benassi, Cedric Gervais, Richie Hawtin, Armin van Buuren, EDX, Cosmic Gate, Arty, Kaskade, Carl Cox, and many, many more. You can expect to see all these artists and more (full list below) at a variety of nightclub, dayclub, pool party, and after hours events with some very intimate and others in a mega-club setting.

Back at the beginning of May, Insomniac announced our plans to extend the festivities surrounding the 16th Annual EDC in Las Vegas by introducing EDC Week. Scheduled to take place between 5th and 12th June, 2012, this celebration of electronic dance music’s takeover in Las Vegas will include pool parties and nightlife events featuring world-renowned EDM artists. Having recently announced the Bassrush Massive show at the Orleans Arena, and the EDMbiz Conference at The Cosmopolitan, we now reveal the full schedule of festivities!
