Thrashing a packed house on a Wednesday at Wild Knight for DANCEgiving, Arty‘s blend of trance and progressive house made clubbers go crazy track after track. DANCEgiving was more than just a success as Arty continued to establish himself as one of the top trance DJs in the world, at 23 no less. Scottsdale was just one of the many victims to the Arty’s irresistible sets this past year.
“All the shows are different so you’re not getting bored from them,” Arty explained before entering Wild Knight. “Every time you see different people in different cities and in different countries. Every time is a new experience, which is amazing.”
And his accomplishments this past year certainly have given him quite the experience in 2012. The young Russian has played massive shows like EDC Las Vegas, ASOT 550, and Nocturnal Wonderland. He’s done a number of singles, remixes and collaboration with Paul van Dyk, BT, and Nadia Ali–not to mention, his podcast ‘Together We Are“.
“It’s a way to share my music with the people,” Arty said. “Like, I found this amazing track and I found this amazing track and I found this amazing track from 2007 or ’93 or whatever. And I can just share it.”
Arty’s love of music goes beyond his podcast. In fact, DJ-ing wasn’t his planned profession in the first place. “I wanted to be a musician,” he said. “The reason why I’m Dj-ing is the people want to see me in the clubs, in the festivals playing my music. It’s a chance for people to enjoy the music and have a good time.”
Despite the constant traveling and the numerous shows, Arty says he never tires of it. He loves the energy too much. “I was literally in all parts of the world this past year,” he said. “I love it every night. If the crowd is good, you can’t not enjoy the crowd. They really make it.”
