YetepAlright clubbers, Marquee will be releasing their first compilation CD from some of their biggest headliners, including Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, ATB, Paul Oakenfold and countless others. This is more than just your average promo compilation.
Teamed with Dutch label Black Hole Recordings, Marquee has created this 32-track, 2-disc set to promote some of the biggest names that roll through the now storied Las Vegas night spot.
“Our venues in New York, Las Vegas, and Sydney are known to be hubs of electronic dance music and nightlife, and if we can bring that to distribution channels outside our markets, that’s a big marketing tool,” Jason Strauss, Marquee co-owner, told Billboard.
This’ll give Marquee a strong marketing tool in edging out the EDM-competing Wynn Las Vegas nightclubs, after they released their Ultra Music combined compilations mixed by the DJs that bang in their clubs.
Marquee used all the Electronic Dance knowledge available in their hot spot to make sure that this compilation would be everything that the fans would want.
“A compilation is a compilation, but we had our marketing team, our promoters, our hosts, and our staff all weigh in on what songs they’d want to have on there,” said Strauss to Billboard. “Having our brand as a ‘brand lab’ to find songs we thought intriguing and relevant is a very unique and differentiating factor to us.”
Volume 1 of their compilation series is set for release this coming Monday, March 18th.
