YetepReady and determined to keep EDM fresh and thrilling, Steve Angello announces the launch of his new label, X, to promote new unique music that inspires him.
“X, it’s a new era and it’s the ten years of SIZE. X has been something I’ve had in my head for a very long time. Creativity it gives freedom, fuel and new life,” said Steve.
Kicking things of for the young label is New Orleans born, LA-based DJ/Producer Trent Cantrelle with his May 6 release of his Nice & Close EP.
‘Nice & Close’ flows through 90s synths but a groove that is all its own. Just imagine rolling through a city highway in the middle of the night, street lights flooding in and out of your car as you drive on. This song is most likely playing in the background.
X will be a sister label to Steve Angello’s original SIZE. The intent is to create a deeper, tech-ier side to SIZE’s already enormous sound.
Cantrelle’s EP will also include the song ‘Understand’, which is equally as underground as the other.
Steve Angello fans rejoice!
