YetepLove it or hate it, Daft Punk‘s latest album, Random Access Memories, is probably their most polarizing album considering the difference in sound compared to their older LPs.
Amidst rumors of Random Access Memories remixes, Daft Punk announces a two-song EP set of their single with Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, “Get Lucky.” The EP will include the pre-album release radio edited version and a 10 minute remix edit! There’s a mushroom cloud where my head used to be.
Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter told Pete Tong on their BBC Radio 1 interview, “Usually we never mix ourselves, that’s something we feel we’re interested in doing this time.”
The recently unmasked duo will be sending their love out with the 2 version set on July 15, now available for pre-order on this French music website. (You may want to hit that Google Translate option.) Chances are, this will not be the last we hear of RAM remixes from the robots.
Fan’s might also want to check out their only-in-Japan addition to Random Access Memories, “Horizon.”
