Who Is America’s Best DJ? DJ Times Launches 2013 Poll

Trance to trap. Spinners to laptop maestros. America brings a lot to the electronic dance game. It’s time to decide. Who’s the best DJ hailing from the red, white & blue?

Since 2006, DJ Times ask fans to choose “America’s Best DJ” from a list of 100 nominees (selected by the editors of DJ Times, listed below) in a three-month competition. Voting on the America’s Best DJ Website moves your DJ up list and give you the chance to win a number of prizes from Pioneer DJ and DJ Times.

Co-sponsored by The Marquee Las Vegas, the competition could award a fan a +1 trip to Vegas, including VIP treatment from the comped plane ride to their free hotel accommodations on their way to America’s Best DJ Closing Party/Award Ceremony at Marquee Nightclub on October 13th.

The voting started over Memorial Day Weekend and will end Labor Day Weekend later this year, and the grand prize winner will be selected on September 2. Don’t get your hopes down if you don’t win that though! You’re still up for a chance to win a DJM-250 mixer & 4 sets of HDJ-2000K headphones from Pioneer DJ or a 10-year subscription from DJ Times.

The past four winners to take home the gold-plated Pioneer DJM-900nexus mixer were Z-Trip (2009), DJ QBert (2010), Kaskade (2011) and Markus Schulz (2012). Surprisingly, in this list of incredible club bangers, Markus Schulz, who took home the award last year, is not listed in the 100 options this year.

Either way, the winner this year will surely be at the top of people’s hearts and minds. So much talent too choose! Pick wisely.

Oh, and by the way, America’s Best DJ will be going on tour across (you guessed it!) America this summer, showing off the best of the list to the hungry ears of American EDM fans. Tour dates are listed below.
