YetepEDC Las Vegas may have come and gone this past June, but Insomniac continues its On The Road to EDC Vegas tour across the globe with its next stop, Puerto Rico.
On Thursday, EDC announced the lineup of the two-day stop in San Juan, P.R. Pretty Lights, Congorock, Borgore, Nicky Romero, and Steve Angello are among the DJs who will be soundtracking this beach rave in the “Island of Enchantment”. The festival will be held at the Parque Luis Muñoz Marín, a historic park in San Juan.
In early 2013, the park was re-opened to the public after undergoing major renovations. The tourist spot is a beautiful backdrop for the massive art installations EDC is known for.
Puerto Rico is not only a beautiful island, but is also becoming an EDM capital. In an October 2012 interview with DJ Mag, Skrillex explained that the island already had a strong EDM culture and it’s U.S. territory status allowed the industry easy access. Continuous support from Insomniac with its EDC stops in San Juan will only grow the industry, culture and fan-base in Puerto Rico.
You can purchase two-day general admission passes for $70 or two-day VIP passes for $125 on EDC Puerto Rico’s site.
