YetepRL Grime released his newest EP, “High Beams”, earlier this week on Fool’s Gold label.
In his Fool’s Gold debut, RL Grime aka Clockwork aka Henry Steinway dropped a major EP this week that further showcases his abilities as a producer. He walks the line between dance music and hip-hop with great ease giving listeners songs to not only get crazy to on the dance floor, but tracks to closely listen.
The five-track EP shows RL Grime’s growth as a producer and the direction this Henry Steinway musical identity is heading. Trap is relatively new to the masses with a flood of trap DJs releasing trap remix after trap remix. It can be easy to differentiate between the ok producers from the extraordinary ones. In this case, RL Grime has proven to be an extraordinary producer who is taking risks and evolving the genre. Stand out tracks on the EP are “Heard Me” and “Shells”.
