We hear from her old friends and early supporters, along with former promoters who were the first to book her in the city’s thriving underground. As one of the few women to seriously pursue a career as a DJ, the episode is a unique look at Sydney’s determination and perseverance in her climb to the top and the people who helped her get there.

After a jam-packed set at the Pride Festival, Sydney and her entourage head to her after hours party at Footwork. As Sydney explains, she began playing at Footwork over 8 years ago when it first opened and the club and owners hold a special place in her heart. The night rages on until almost dawn and as Sydney ends her walk down memory lane, she reflects on the accomplishments in her career, with tribute to the city where she came from.
