Relentless Beats

Kill Frenzy’s Arizona Debut at Phoenix Lights Festival on March 22

If you haven’t heard of Dirtybird as a big (and still growing) name in the dance music realm, then perhaps you’ve been living under a rock or maybe you’ve been looking for love in all the wrong places. Based out of San Francisco, Dirtybird has been bringing the deeper and bass-ier sounds of house music and techno into the ears and hearts of many all over the world for the last decade, having just celebrated their 10 year anniversary with the release of the Dirtybird 10 compilation. While it’s been an incredible year for the Dirtybird family, many of them have all been celebrating great amounts of individual success.

As one of the more new feathered friends of the flock, Kill Frenzy, has been, well, killing it with the recent release of his first full-length album, Taylr Swft, off of the Dirtybird label. After having already made a name for himself in Europe and being one of the first European producers to release ghetto house tracks on the infamous Dusty Traxx label in Chicago, he seemingly exploded on the American scene with his hit “Booty Clap”, which was released on a Dirtybird compilation in 2012. Since then, that track and Kill Frenzy have received incredible amounts of support and airplay from other producers in so many different sub genres.

That, coupled with a recently completed North American tour, and the success of two released singles off the album (“No Panties” and “ All Night Long”, which also has an accompanying music video) shows that there is no stopping this Belgian innovator. While he may not have had a tour stop in Phoenix, Kill Frenzy will be making his debut descent into the valley at Phoenix Lights Festival on March 22. Don’t save your applause for the end, give Kill Frenzy a standing ovation by getting on your feet and making that booty clap all night long.
