YetepThis September, the 12th annual Decibel Festival will be turning up the volume in Seattle. Recently, the festival released it’s first batch of names that will be gracing the Decibel stages from September 23rd to September 27th. More than a festival, however, the Decibel sits on a unique platform of the whole “festival experience”. Decibel sets itself apart, as it combines music with state-of-the-art interactive multimedia, as well as exposing attendees to technology-based educational experiences lead by top creators in the business. The festival itself embodies a sort of “work hard, play harder” mantra, with its schedules offering a variety of conferences and talks in the daytime, then performer after performer until the wee hours of the morning.
While the festival hasn’t yet given up all the goods about who will be leading the talks, as well as the rest of the lineup, we can only dream about what greatness Decibel has in store based off of that phase 1 lineup they have gifted to dance music lovers. The lineup itself is a wide range of sounds from soulful vocals from Seattle-based artist Shaprece, to the funky, energetic sounds of Justin Jay. Festival attendees will be graced with names that have been heavily frequenting lineups this festival season, such as The Acid, Bob Moses, STS9, Mija, Julio Bashmore, and more. As the dates approach, be sure to keep an eye out for the rest of that hot lineup! Early bird tickets are already out, for yours here.
