Insomniac to Hold All-Trance Event, Dreamstate 2015

Electronic music festival-giant Insomniac, is teaming up with Los Angeles event company, Motive Events, to throw a grand extravaganza for trance lovers. In the aftermath of EDC, those who attended were found in a flurry of confusing rumors after seeing an event flyer in the Electric Daisy Carnival booklet for an event titled ‘Dreamstate 2015’. The flyer, containing few words, let festival-goers know that Insomniac would be hosting an event on Thanksgiving Day weekend that is branded as “Your trance destination”.

Finally, Insomniac cleared a rumor in their blog and has confirmed that the rumors are true. Insomniac, along with longtime LA event company, Motive Events, will be joining forces to bring something like never before. While Insomniac does host large-scale events, such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Electric Forest, that have multi-genre stages and the occasional Basscon events, that hosts the harder styles of music, there has yet to be an event exclusively dedicated to trance. So what can attendees expect? Perhaps some Group Therapy with Above & Beyond and the rest of the Anjunabeats family? Maybe Armin van Buuren will make Dancestate a complete State of Trance. While there’s still no lineup, we can all only speculate, but there’s no doubt that Insomniac will be bringing out the big guns of trance for Dreamstate.
