YetepAn event that started as a monthly club night in Los Angeles at Sound Nightclub, hosting the finest in house, garage, and bassline, has grown into, not only a movement, but also a record label. AC Slater, bass house extraordinaire and boss to the new label, Night Bass, started this monthly event only over a year ago, as one of the few reoccuring events that hosted that heavy bassline sound. Fast forward to now, and this label is spreading that heavy bass sound, including at one of the largest electronic music festivals in America, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, where the new label hosted their own Night Bass stage that featured performances from Chris Lorenzo, Jack Beats, and of course, AC Slater.
To celebrate this major milestone in the Night Bass movement and the creation of the label, their first release will be the seven track EP, This Is Night Bass, Vol. 1, which features sounds from the likes of Taiki Nulight, Chris Lorenzo, Jack Beats, and GotSome. The label itself will begin featuring veterans of this unique bass sound, but will also be featuring up-and-comers and groundbreaking artists. As the label continues to grow and spread it’s hot and heavy beats, you can be sure that this sound isn’t going anywhere. For a taste of what’s to come from Night Bass, be sure to listen to the This Is Night Bass, Vol. 1 EP.
