YetepJesse Hughes, also known as Vanic, from Vancouver is known for his abilities of combining pop melodies, modern female vocals, and futuristic electro house resulting in a unique and loveable style. Spotlighting the vocals of acts like K.Flay, Zella Day and machineheart, and gaining massive popularity with remixes of top tracks like Zella Day’s “High” and Major Lazer’s “Be Together,” his productions have turned into viral releases and he’s been seen on more and more festival lineups around the world.
Vanic told Billboard that he is “very excited for the world to hear his original music in 2016.” Jesse will be performing both weekends at Coachella 2016 and is currently embarking on a 25-date North American tour aptly titled, Road To Coachella. Just in time for his chella debut, he’s graced us with another great remix for K.Flay, titled “FML.”
The vocals on K. Flay tracks never fail to impress, and also never fail to get even better once Vanic adds to them. The two have teamed up for irresistable tracks like “Make Me Fade,” “The Cops,” “Cant Sleep,” “High,” and now they’re back with another. The new tune “FML” starts out sounding like any other collab done by the two, but then as usual takes you into an unexpected drop which displays how much of a jackpot these two working together really is. I’m jealous of everyone who gets to hear the new track this weekend at Coachella!
