The war wubs of Dubstep and the battle kicks of Hardstyle are roaring as two armies prepare to invade NOS Event Center for Project Z this July. Nearly SOLD-OUT, the show promises to be one for the absolute books, as two of Insomniacs highest produced brands go head to head in an absolute battle of the bass. There’s no doubt that the dedicated Hard and Bass heads will be riding the rails at their respective stages, but for the ravers plagued with clashing time-slots check out some of these must see acts.

#TeamBassconMustSee : Tuneboy ‘Classics Set’
This is one for the old school ravers out there, the kids who followed maps to the warehouse parties, stayed out late and love reverse bass. Tuneboy, one of the pioneers of Hard Dance Music will grace the speakers with a set of 100% classics. For those who aren’t familiar, Tuneboy helped develop the sound we know now as ‘Hardstyle’, having played massives across the world he’s genuinely one of the best in the game. I’m hoping to hear some tracks like ‘Sexbusters‘ or ‘Housenation‘ from him at the show.
#TeamBassrushMustSee : Noisia
Having formed in 2001 the Dutch electronic music trio refuses to limit themselves to a single standing genre. Being known primarily as Drum and Bass, Noisia dabbles across all forms of bass music reaching into Dubstep, Breakbeat and House. Fresh off of EDC they plan to drop by Phoenix, July 15th followed by Project Z and off to their just announced European ‘Outer Edges’ tour. Contrary to Tuneboy, expect to hear some NEW tunes from the guys, if you haven’t already check out ‘Anomaly’ which was released early this June.
There’s literally tons to see at the first installment of Project Z… But the true question is, are you #TeamBassrush or #TeamBasscon.
