YetepAtlantic Records is one of the older record labels with a pretty extensive music history. They definitely deserve some recognition for making their mark on the industry. This label began in 1947 and has been holding the most legendary artists since its inception. Artists like Led Zeppelin, Ray Charles, Rolling Stones and just a few of the artists who have graced the label. Legendary artists from the past, but which legendary artists do they have signed on now in 2016?
Let’s start with Knife Party. They has been slaying it across the globe with their electro-house/dubstep. They absolutely slaughtered it at EDC making them one of my top sets. Check out their top songs, “Internet Friends” and “LRAD”.
Up, next…Skrillex. Honestly, you are living under a rock if you do not know Skrillex by his legendary hair and of course his music. Skrillex has perfected the art in mastering trap, dubstep and electro house. Skrillex’s duo with Diplo– Jack U– is also signed on this record label as well. This dynamic duo won Collaboration of the Year Unleashed By T-Mobile for the song, “Where Are U Now.”
David Guetta is another artist with great hair who is also apart of the Atlantic Records team. David Guetta was most recently crowned as Top Dance/Electronic Music Artist at the Billboard Music Awards. Check out one of David Guetta’s top music videos down below!
Last artists we will talk about is Galantis. Galantis holds a special place in my heart. I think we can all say that we got the feels everytime we listened to “Runaway (U & I)”. Hell, Galantis is so good, they have had the opportunity to have the last set on the last day of EDC for the last two years! I think that is impressive. They even won Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in 2015 Grammy’s! Get excited fans, this dreamy duo is making their way to Arizona at Global Dance Festival at Rawhide on November 19!
Atlantic Records has an extensive and impressive list of EDM artists. They also have various artists from different music genres like Weezer, Santigold, Paramore, Missy Elliot, Jason Mraz, Death Cab For Cutie, B.o.B, Ed Sheeran, and many more. They have a great track record of legendary artists. Keep an eye on Atlantic Records as they bring the baddest sounds in music.
