YetepFor all you groove lovers out there, Big Gigantic has some exciting news. Colorado based and made up of drummer Jeremy Salken and saxophonist and producer Dominic Lalli, Big G has been bringing the funk since 2007, and now they’re set to embark on a ‘brighter future.’
Their thirteen track album ‘Brighter Future’ is set to be released on August 26th, and finds the duo linking up with a wide array of artists like Waka Flocka Flame, GRiZ, Pell, and not to mention Logic and Rozes on “All of Me,” a track they ever so kindly just shared with us to keep us occupied until we can enjoy the remainder of the album.
“All Of Me” has actually been a work in progress for a while now as Dom made its beat a few years ago and played it for Logic when he met him at a show in Colorado. Then last winter, Big G was in NYC working with Rozes when she came up with a killer hook for the tune on the spot. They all met up in the studio a few months later and finished up what turned out to be an amazing song.
This track is a perfect electronic pop & hip-hop crossover. The chorus showcases the saxophone of course, but the overall rhythm stays out of the way of the infectious vocals. Along with “All Of Me,” Big Gigantic has revealed the dates of their ‘Brighter Future’ Tour. The 22-date trek begins Oct. 18 and will include Louis Futon and Illenium on select dates. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated to charity through their #ABigGiganticDifference initiative and A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation.
