YetepDavid Burd, AKA Lil Dicky, is absolutely blowing up right now! Besides being featured on lineups across the country, all the US dates for his upcoming tour “Dick or Treat” are completely sold out.
Lil Dicky got his start making hilarious YouTube videos like “Ex-Boyfriend” that went viral and now has over 19 million views. His subject matter tends to differ from what we’re used to hearing. LD found his place in the industry being the relatable rapper. He sticks to what he knows: keeping a budget, smoking weed, the struggles of dating, and what it means to be a “professional rapper”. Don’t be fooled though, this man can spit bars like you wouldn’t believe!
He may have built his name by being a comedic rapper, but people should be taking him very seriously. Although Lil Dicky still produces some of the best music videos he’s come a long way since his YouTube days and is now working with some of the biggest names in the game! He’s has been hinting at a collab with Diplo and Skrillex since the beginning of the year when he first posted a photo on Instagram captioned “LD x Jack U“.
This is Lil Dicky’s first year on the Mad Decent lineup and we expect him to go hard when he joins us for MDBP on September 17th, 2016.
