YetepLike some of the other DJ To Watch artists that have come before him like Jauz and NGHTMRE, this week’s featured artist attended Icon Collective in LA for his music production training. He rocked one of the craziest B2B2B sets at the 20th anniversary of EDC alongside 12th Planet and Protohype at the BASSpod – do you know who he is yet? Without further adieu; this week’s DJ To Watch is LUMBERJVCK.
On July 2nd, he came through Phoenix, AZ to open for Trollphace at Monarch Theater. He should have told us to brace ourselves – no literally I think most of us could have used a neckbrace by the end of the night – as Lumberjvck through the f*ck down (for lack of a better way to describe it) and became my favorite set of the night! At this moment, I knew that one day in the near future I would be writing a DJ To Watch article featuring Lumberjvck.
Lumberjvck will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of quite possibly the grimiest dubstep record label ever, SMOG Records with 12th Planet, who has been with SMOG Records since its inception and even influenced the founders to begin the label altogether. After playing such an amazing set together at EDC20 this year, one can only expect a 12th Planet B2B Lumberjvck set during this tour all across America. The two neck-breaking artists will begin their legendary celebration of 10 years for dubstep label SMOG on October 28th.
